I've attached a variety of pictures from the inside, outside, with and without flash. As I told you and you will see, the improvement is remarkable. The quality of the SilverScreen Shade was much greater than we had expected. Each shade was labeled with the dimensions and numbered to correspond to the location on the diagram I had drawn. Your check and double check system proved the order could be made without error the first time. We sensed this is how everything would be when the order first arrived. We have never seen anything packaged with such attention to detail as your shades.

Con and I are very pleased with our silver screen solar shades. Although we have not measured the temperature difference, it must be significant. Now we can comfortably use two west-facing rooms - a sunroom and a bedroom - during the heat of the day. We feel good about conserving energy and almost certainly trimming our cooling bill.

We installed the wheat blackout shades in our bedroom last night - very straightforward installation and the measurements were dead-on. They look clean and sleek and cut out all the light, except unavoidably near the roller at the top - easily solved by a valance.

Thanks again for your suggestions and help. As we add blinds around the house, we'll happily call North Solar Screen.

I just wanted to let you know that we are thrilled with our Silver Screen shades! I'm very impressed with your company, from start to finish. Because you require orders to be placed on the phone, (with a real human) I was able to talk it through with you and come up with the plan of reverse rolls and mounting it above the windows. And the measurements were perfect. The shades came quickly, they were easy to mount, the reverse rolls look and work great. We've had some sunny days and we can now see our view through the shades during the evening when they're down, and the difference in the heat in the house is amazing. The blinds came, and they are very nice. Gilberto installed them on Thursday. They look great! They are absolutely the perfect choice for my rooms which face west from Brooklyn, directly over the East River and with the most amazing view of Manhattan, with the Brooklyn Bridge over on the left and the Statue of Liberty barely visible behind the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel air recirculating thing.

Anyway, we have the best view but also serious sun, and so far....the mylar shades are the perfect solution for reducing heat and glare, but preserving view. Style-wise, I like minimally invasive decor solutions, so the mylar shades score high there, as well. Thanks to all of you for helping with providing samples, helping window selections, and helping with the measuring details.

All worked out beautifully; I am eternally grateful for your help and good humor. (I gave you a 10 out of 10 on NBI's questionnaire; I wish they'd given me the option for bonus points!)

I received my order and have installed them on my west exposure windows. I installed them on the outside of the window in order to keep the temperature of the glass reduced when the sun sets in the afternoon here in Florida. So far I have noticed at least a 40-60% drop in the radiant temperature "from the glass" that we were experiencing prior to the installation of the screens. We are totally happy with the results so far. We also appreciate the fact that the visibility has not been reduced.

Just wanted to tell you how well your shades are working for us! They installed quite easily; actually, very easily, except that the windows were so high. They fit perfectly, and they work just as we hoped. On snowy days we raise them up so we can see the snow, but most other days and nights they just stay down, and yet we can still see the trees through them. This is just to let you know I was able to install our solar screens without any problem and that they are working perfectly. The light color was a good choice. The two blinds work well with the joiner - the load isn't a problem. The sensor and remote system was quite straightforward and is working flawlessly. Because we have so little wind when it is sunny I am holding off on installing the side cables to see whether circumstances require them.

The shades arrived Thursday and were installed today. They look great! Moreover, they work exactly as expected. No more sun glare, a bit more privacy and no more arguments with my wife about awnings!
