Ordering Options and Return Policy
We accept orders either via telephone, email or fax. A written confirmation of your order showing pricing and material sizing will be emailed to you within 24 hours of receipt of your order. You need to approve this confirmation and reply via email or fax (978 475-6496) before your order can be processed. Orders of $2000.00 or more require a signature.
All North Solar Screen, LLC products are custom manufactured to your specifications. Please be sure that you have taken the proper measurements as your shades are not returnable for any reason other than damage during shipment or warranty repair. All returns require a return authorization number. Our customer service department will assist you in obtaining this number and give you instructions on how to proceed with the return.

Payment Options
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards as payment. We will also accept checks sent to us on orders placed by phone, fax or mail. We do require your personal checks to clear prior to the manufacturing and shipment of your order. If you are in a rush and wish to pay by check we strongly suggest paying with a cashier’s check, money order or credit card as this will not cause a delay in the processing of your order.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of order. The balance is due upon shipment. We do accept Purchase Orders although first time customers need to verify credit history or have a back up with a credit card. We do not accept COD orders.
Order Changes and Cancellations
All North Solar Screen, LLC products are custom manufactured by Solar Screen Co., Inc. to fit your specifications. Production on new orders routinely begins with 24 hours of receipt of your confirmation. In the event you need to change or cancel your order, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, an order may not be cancelled or changed if it is already in production. We encourage you to contact us immediately by phone if you need to change or cancel an order. Production and Shipping Times
Factory production time for shades is generally 10-21 business days from date of order depending upon the material. More labor intensive products such as QuickSnap, Modular Cassette systems or motorization can also add to production time. However, during our busy season in the warm months production time can be longer.
Shipping Policy
All products are automatically ground shipped by UPS. Overnight shipping is available upon request. Orders to Alaska automatically go 2nd Day Air unless ground is specified. Items that exceed UPS size restrictions (102" width for interior shades, 96" for exterior shades) will be sent by common carrier (truck lines.) This type of carrier is more expensive and sometimes takes longer.
Inspection of Merchandise
It is important that you inspect your merchandise for damage as soon as you receive it. Do not accept it if the box is damaged. If you are not sure whether the shades have been damaged be sure to write "possible damage" on carrier’s receipt. If you are not home when the shades are delivered and you notice the box is damaged, call the carrier immediately to report it and then call us at (866) 230-4700. We cannot file a claim with the carrier on damaged shades that have not been reported immediately by you or have been accepted by you. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for them.
