Odysee TM Insulating Blinds combine the energy efficient performance of a cellular shade with the variable light control of a traditional wood blind. The vanes (fabric slats) compress to offer a clear view and stack neatly at the head rail when raised. When insulation is required, the vanes expand to 1" soft honeycomb cells to provide significant protection from winter's cold drafts and summer's heat. Expanded shades also conceal lift cords and give complete privacy.
The shades are white to the outside to provide a uniform exterior appearance and to help reflect the heat in the summer. They are available with light filtering and room darkening options.
Open - Functions as a blind, allowing you to look outside and bring in the sun for winter warmth.
Closed - Vanes expand to 1" cellular shades that provide significant year round insulation from cold air drafts in the winter and summer's heat from the sun.

The continuous cord loop is recommended for ease of operation. The cord comes 2/3's of the way down the blind/shade. Open or close the blind, expand or compress the vanes. Adjust the vanes to any variation to suit your specific light requirement and insulating needs. It's all up to you.
