RETRACT EXTERIOR SHADES IN WINDY CONDITIONS

Natte fabrics are more resistant to the elements. They are transparent woven materials ranging in openness from 9-14%. Openness means the percentage of light that is let through the weave of the shade. Their glass fibers provide excellent dimensional stability and when combined with Plastisol insure longevity, UV stability, resistance to tough weather conditions (heat and cold) and chemical agents. The Plastisol coating at 1/100th of a millimeter, also insures the perfect regularity of the fiber and guarantees both transparency and flatness of the fabric when installed.

Our outside shades are built to last. Exterior rated clutches have stainless steel internal springs to avoid rust. Chains are UV resistant and won't break down. Brackets are marine grade with a rust proof coating or stainless upgrades are available. Shades are triple locked to rust proof rollers and then sealed with a weatherproof bond to protect against the elements. Shades are constructed with a heavy duty aluminum weight bar at the bottom to prevent fraying. This bar is available in white, black, bronze or anodized and is secured to the welded bottom weight pocket. On the left and right hand sides of this bottom bar are tie down loops, which are used to tie down the shade either to hooks or a Bungee cord. An optional cable system on each side of the shade helps stabilize the shade movement and can also serve as a tie down for motorized shades. Optional side channels are offered in white, bronze, black or anodized. Fascias in matching colors are available to hide the roller. A reverse roll to hide the roller is offered at no charge.

Our brackets are universal so shades can be mounted inside the frame, outside the frame or from the top down.

Shades can be motorized using 110v Motors with Radio Remotes or 110v Hardwired Motors with Switches.

Natte material comes 98" wide. The widest shade that can be manufactured to ship is 144". If the dimensions of your shade are wider than 98" but less than 96" no seam is required. (Ex. 100" x 95") If your shade dimensions are wider than 98" and higher than 96" (Ex. 100" x 100") a horizontal seam 1/2" wide will be required. We sonically weld our seams so that they will not come apart.
