We can motorize any shade we carry for both interior and exterior. This includes all transparent shades, heat blocking shades, blackout shades, room dimming shades, skylight shades, store front shades, industrial shades and patio shades.
Motors are installed inside the rollers. Motors can go in the right or left side of the roller. To tell us which side you want the motor installed, you need to provide us with the correct orientation of the roller by specifying which way the fabric is rolling. A regular roll shade rolls away from you and a reverse roll shade rolls towards you.
For Interior Use only-shades up to 96" x 96" or 15 lbs.

Easy to operate and maintain, no wiring necessary, SOMFYWirelessBatteryOperated Motors are a very affordable remote control option. Motors are available either as infrared with infrared hand held remote, or radio controlled with hand held remotes or wall mounted radio switches.
The Battery Wand (16 1/2" x 1") for these motors attaches to the wall behind the shade with plastic clips, and comes with AA Lithium batteries that last an average of one to one and a half years depending on the weight of the material used and how frequently the shade is operated. Order the Dual Battery Wand to extend battery life for shades in hard to reach places. Batteries are not rechargeable and are NOT UNDER WARRANTY. You must purchase a new battery wand when the batteries expire. Save money by ordering the Reloadable Battery Wand and fill it with your own AA Lithium Batteries, or choose the 12V Transformer to plug the unit in and eliminate batteries completely.
Motors are inside a 1 1/2" aluminum roller. No Slip Drive Key prevents internal mechanism slippage.
SOMFY BATTERY OPERATED INFRARED MOTORS (12V)
One Infrared remote operates an infinite number of shades individually
Simply point the infrared remote control toward the "eye" at the end of the roller and press the button to raise or lower the shade
Range is approximately 12'. For shades further away or with very intense exterior light, choose the Radio Motor.
There must be a clear line of sight from the remote to the shade; if there is not, order the Extender Eye or choose the Radio Motor.
SMART MOTOR PLUG-IN POWERED WIRELESS CONTROLLED SYSTEM
(Rated for Interior and Exterior Use)
The motorized drive mechanism is inside the shade roller. The spring loaded end plug and drive locks the shade into heavy duty brackets. Each shade is controlled by a wireless switch. You can control single or multiple shades by pressing a button. Motors use about 1.5 amps.
4+1 Channel Remote and 1 Channel Remote
Remotes hang on the wall with a matching peg.
This is an ideal lift system for shades up to 144 inches wide, high windows, heavy shade materials, or when visible power cords are undesirable. It can power a single or multiple shades. Rollers are available in 1.5", 2", or 2.75" diameters. The motorized roller is designed with preset stops to prevent the shade from rolling too high or too low.
110 VOLTMOTIONCO MOTOR WITH RADIO CONTROLLED REMOTE
(Rated For Interior or Exterior Use)
These hardwired motors use a radio frequency remote instead of a switch. They save the cost of a relay system if more than two shades need to be connected to the same switch. They can also be used for a hardwired motor if a remote is desired. The remotes are available as a 1 Channel Remote, which opens one shade individually, or a 3 + 1 Channel Remote which can open multiple shades individually or at once. Each shade is put on its own channel for individual operation. The 4th channel (+1) will open and close the shades simultaneously. Signals can be copied to the same remote for extra shades.
