MOTORIZATION PRICES

Any of our shades can be motorized. To calculate total cost, add the motor choices below to the price of your shade.

INFRARED BATTERY MOTOR

Basic Infrared Motor: $160.00, plus cost of shade.

You must purchase the Infrared Remote ($56.00). Then choose from one of the following Power Options below.

POWER OPTIONS

Reloadable Battery Wand, 17 inches long requires 8 Lithium batteries which are not supplied.

You supply your own Lithium AA Batteries (requires 8)

12V Battery Wand: $72.00

12V Dual Battery Wand: $144.00
To extend battery life where shades are difficult to access for battery replacement.

Boosters for Idler End of Shade: $12.80
This product boosts the power of a battery motor so it can operate larger shades. It works on the idler end of the roller (opposite end to the motor) and acts like a spring assist.

12 Volt DC Plug-in Transformer for each Motor: $106.00
Replaces battery wand.

12 Volt DC Plug-in Transformer for up to 6 Motors: $288.00
Replaces battery wand.

Optional: 10" Extension Infrared Eye Receiver: $24.00
An extension may be needed if shades are installed with fascia or a valance.

RADIO CONTROLLED BATTERY POWERED MOTOR

Basic Radio Control Motor: $288.00, plus cost of shade.

You must choose one of the following Power Options and one of the Remote Options.

Replaces battery wands and eliminates battery. Up to six motors can plug into a transformer which plugs into an outlet. Extension wires might be required.

Timer with Sun Sensor: $480.00
Shades operate by sun sensor, timer and remote.

Program the functions and the shades will operate from built in memory. Deduct the cost of the battery wand if you are using the transformer.

*Momentary = The switch must be depressed until the shade reaches the desired point.
**Maintained = Operate the switch and the shade will travel down or up to its limit stops.

One or two shades can be operated from a single switch. With the use of relays, one switch can operated 3-100 shades. Please contact us to design a multiple shade system or to add on extra features. Local wiring codes generally require an electrical contractor to open walls for installation.

OPTIONAL JOINER

For Somfy Smart Motor or Somfy 110 Volt Hardwired Motor

Using a joiner will create a 1 1/4" gap between shades.

Money Saving Idea: With the addition of a joiner, motorized shades can be connected as long as they are less than 2" apart. One motor can drive two or more shades depending upon the size and weight. This concept works best when the shades are in exact alignment.
