M Screen for residential or commercial use has the rich linen look of finer woven fabric. It is available in two different openness factors (or densities) and 9 different colors. The 5% openness is 95% dense and filters out 95% of the light and UV. The 3% openness is 97% dense and filters out 97% of the light and UV. Denser weaves provide better glare, fade and heat reduction but less outward visibility. Colors closest to white reject 30% more heat than darker colors. Darker colors give sharpest outward visibility. M Screen shades also provide daytime privacy.
