How to Install Self Tapping D Rings on Exterior Shades

D Rings, included with your order, secure the bottom of the shade and prevent it from moving around.

1. Drill a pilot hole through the aluminum weight bar at the bottom with a drill bit slightly larger than the diameter of the screw.
   
   
2. Allow the self tapping screw to spin on the surface until it drills itself through.
