SilverScreen™ Roller Shades are an innovative breakthrough in solar and heat control. SilverScreen enhanced transparent material has a highly reflective, ultra fine layer of aluminum vacuum bonded to the exterior facing side of vinyl coated woven fiberglass. The fabric is then given a special finish that protects the bond making it ideally suited for roller shades. The aluminum layer reflects solar heat for cooler temperatures during the summer. In the winter it reduces heat loss through windows at night by as much as 20%. This results in considerable energy savings in heating and air conditioning costs. SilverScreen is an environmentally friendly Green Product. It has the Oko-Tex Standard 100 certificate (the European equivalent for the U.S. Greenguard VOC requirements) and is formaldehyde free.
