Charcoal/Charcoal Vela Eco Green

PVC fabrics contain no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), eliminating the need for off gassing and improving your air quality. They are commonly used in both commercial and residential applications. Eco Green fabrics may contribute to accumulating credits for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards for North America.

The LEED Green Building Rating System gives builders credits for the use of healthier, more environmentally responsible products through energy conservation and the ability to contribute to an overall improvement of indoor environmental quality. These credits may ultimately add up to earn a "green building rating". Vela Eco Green is 100% Polyester and is PVC free shade. Most shade fabrics are 3% openness, 97% dense. These shades are lead free.

When choosing an Eco-Friendly fabric, please be sure to take all Solar Control Properties(pdf) into consideration. Please note that openness factors for these fabrics are specific to Eco-Friendly materials and should not be compared to other fabric types.

The minimum size of a shade is 12" x 12". The maximum size of a shade depends on the style:

Standard roller - 116" wide x 120" high
Ultra Sleek Cassette - 84" wide x 84" high
Deluxe Cassette - 90" wide x 120" high
Motorized Deluxe Cassette - 90" wide x 120" high

Shades are shipped with all the necessary hardware. Our brackets are universal so shades can be mounted inside the frame, outside the frame or from the top down. Chain lengths are 3/4's of the way down the shade. Please specify if you need longer chains.

Eco Green shades can be motorized using the Somfy Battery Operated Radio Motor with the Reloadable Battery Wand. To calculate the price of a motorized Eco Green shade, add the Eco Green shade price below to the battery motor price, which includes the battery wand for $210.00. For the cost of the 1 Channel Remote, add $70.00. For the cost of the 4+1 Multi Channel Remote add $91.00. If you want a motorized Eco Green shade with a cassette, add the Deluxe Cassette option below or add Aluminum Fascia.
