Flocke Blackout Shade in Chartreux
Flocke Blackout Shades are top of the line in quality. Composed of 48% fiberglass, Flocke is a unique light stopping fabric offering texture with a flocked white acrylic backing. This material contains no PVC. This flocked finish gives the shades their luxurious look. They are durable, flame resistant, colorfast and washable. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner and clean with sponge, cold water and mild detergent. Flocke shades are available in thirteen decorator colors.
When installed with sufficient overlap of windows (mounting the shade above the window and beyond the window frame) all exterior light will be eliminated. Any shade that is both wider and longer than 78" X 78" require a horizontal seam that is a 1/2" wide. Dual colormaterial shades have a white side to face the sun for better heat rejection. Shade bottoms are finished with a weighted bar inside a sonically welded pocket. Radio frequency welding eliminates stitching that pulls fabric, punches holes and can easily fail. As an option the ends of pocket can be heat sealed to prevent removal of the weight bar.
