Economical Vinyl/Fiberglass Stop Light Solar Shades
Stop Light shade material is the most affordable and is well suited for commercial, industrial, school and residential use. Its four ply construction consists of three layers of matted vinyl with an interior layer of fiberglass. Fiberglass insures the material will not stretch or shrink and gives it extra durability. Stop Light material will not crack, break or get pinholes. It is flame resistant, washable and colorfast. Stop Light Shades are also moisture resistant and suitable for damp locations.
Stop Light’s lighter weight makes it easy to roll for very large windows. Solar Screen uses oversized 38mm diameter rust proof aluminum rollers to insure the material will roll correctly without sagging or squirming.
Maximum dimensions for Stop Light Shades are 144" wide x 134" high. Stop Light material comes 72" wide. The longest shade without a seam is 72" wide x 134" high. The widest shade without a visible seam is 144" wide x 70" high. Seams are sonically welded for the strongest possible bonding. These shades meet the highest demands for total light blocking, flame safety, and excellent solar heat reduction. Made from 100% polyester, Black Out Supreme material has a polyvinylacetate/acrylic coating on both sides with flame retarding additives. It is manufactured without solvents or formaldehyde making it flame proof and non-toxic proof. If there is a fire no toxic gases will be emitted. This added safety feature makes Blackout Supreme the preferred light blocking material for public and private facilities. Style 7000 Blackout Solar Shades
(Polyester PVC Free)
Style 7000 has the look and feel of rich cloth. The interior facing side is a lightly textured, opaque polyester which comes in a broad range of decorator colors. The exterior facing side has a white acrylic foamed backing (PVC free) to stop the heat.
Maximum dimensions for Style 7000 are 144" wide x 134" high. Style 7000 material comes 94" wide. The longest shade without a seam is 94" wide x 134" high. The widest shade without a visible seam is 144" wide x 92" high. Seams are sonically welded for the strongest possible bonding. Shade bottoms are finished with a weighted bar inside a sonically welded pocket. Radio frequency welding eliminates stitching that pulls fabric, punches holes and can easily fail. As an option the ends of pocket can be heat sealed to prevent removal of the weight bar.
This fabric should be regularly dusted or vacuumed as appropriate. If commercial spot cleaners are used, they must first be tested and allowed to dry on an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility.

Flocke Blackout Shades are top of the line in quality. Composed of 48% fiberglass, Flocke is a unique light stopping fabric offering texture with a flocked white acrylic backing. This material contains no PVC. This flocked finish gives the shades their luxurious look. They are durable, flame resistant, colorfast and washable. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner and clean with sponge, cold water and mild detergent. Flocke shades are available in thirteen decorator colors.
When installed with sufficient overlap of windows (mounting the shade above the window and beyond the window frame) all exterior light will be eliminated. Quick Snap Light Sealed Systems
To assure 100% light proofing with minimal caulking, shades can be coupled with our Quick Snap Light Sealed System. This is especially important for shades mounted inside a window frame because light streaks can come in from behind the roller, the sides of the shade and the bottom. TheQuick Snap Light Sealed System only comes in white and includes the shade installed in the cassette, the chain drive, side channels and a bottom channel to seal out all light. Order with any one of our light blocking shade materials in any color and your choice of right or left hand control. The Quick Snap Light Sealed System fits shades up to 72" wide by 72" long. We will custom manufacture to your exact specifications to the closest 1/8th inch. Windows whose widths differ by more than 1/2" from the top and bottom will need to use the Modular Light Sealed System.

Modular Light Sealed System Use our Modular Light Sealed System for larger, chain operated shades (ranging from 48" to 144" in width and height), outside mounts, or if you want to motorize. We call it Modular because the Light Blocking Fascia, Side Channels, Bottom Bar for Light Blocking and Bottom Channel are purchased as separate units to which the cost of your desired Blackout Shade is added.

The Light Blocking Fascia dimensions depend upon the size of your shades. They are either 3" wide x 3" deep (for smaller or battery operated shades) or 4" wide by 4" deep (for larger shades or other motorization). We can make them up to 144" in length. Both Three and Four Inch Light Blocking Fascias are available in white, black, bronze or anodized. All Back Plates are white.
Side Channels are available in two widths: 1.75" wide (3/4" deep) for smaller windows and 2.5" wide (3/4" deep) for larger ones or when using large motors. Side and Bottom Channels in both sizes are available in white, black, bronze or anodized. The Bottom Channel is actually a Side Channel turned upwards.
