This is an ideal lift system for shades up to 144 inches wide, high windows, heavy shade materials, or when visible power cords are undesirable. It can power a single or multiple shades. Rollers are available in 1.5", 2", or 2.75" diameters. The motorized roller is designed with preset stops to prevent the shade from rolling too high or too low. One or two shades can be operated from a single switch. With the use of relays one switch can operate 100 shades. An isolation control can be used to operate one shade from two switches. Choose a Single Pole switch for each shade, or choose a Double Pole switch to operate 2 shades. Momentary switches move the shade only when you are operating the switch; choose this type if you want to be able to stop the shade at will. A quick tap is all that is needed to operate a maintained switch; the shade will move all the way up or all the way down to its limit stops (no midway point possible.) Shades up to 40 pounds use our standard motor. This exceeds the weight of most window coverings. Heavier shades require more powerful motors and large rollers at an additional charge. Heavy duty mounting brackets are included. The switches come in white or ivory. The motors have four wires: Money Saving Idea: With the addition of a joiner motorized shades can be connected as long as they are less than 2" apart. One motor can drive two or more shades depending upon the size and weight. This concept only works when the shades are in exact alignment.
